LG Chem and Lavergne Groupe Form Strategic Partnership

MONTREAL, CANADA, October 30, 2024— LG Chem and Lavergne Groupe (Lavergne), have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a new strategic partnership. Under this agreement, Lavergne will provide manufacturing services in North America to LG Chem, marking a significant step forward in their shared commitment to advancing the circular economy.

The strategic partnership between LG Chem and Lavergne will focus on leveraging each company’s strengths to drive manufacturing, logistics efficiency, and technological advancements. Over the past year, Lavergne has successfully navigated LG Chem’s rigorous qualification process, ultimately producing high-quality engineering plastics that meet LG Chem’s standards. LG Chem intends to increase its presence in North America through synergies with Lavergne, as well as improve the supply chain for post-consumer recycled engineering plastics, reinforcing its commitment to the circular economy and sustainable solutions. This partnership reflects a mutual commitment to excellence and a shared vision for future growth.
